
Rudderow leads cross country at Alumni Run

Lancaster, Pa. – Millersville women's cross country team participated in the Alumni Run Invitational hosted by Franklin & Marshall yesterday afternoon to begin the 2017 season.
Freshman Elizabeth Rudderow had the best time of the team at 21:03.10 to place 32nd position, fourth among women runners. Behind her, two freshmen Alexa Happ and Julia Murphy went through the finish line at 21:12.20 and 21:29.80.
Three freshman Emily Bland, Victoria Ranck and Yoangelys Rijo-Cedeno positioned themselves a second off from each other with times of 21:50.60, 21:51.30 and 21:51.70. Seniors Madie Tropp and Aniya Gibbs recorded times of 22:03.60 and 22:04.90.
Inside the top 50, freshman Natalie Pietrowski ran a 22:50.80 to grab 49th place. Gemma Pasewicz, Kelley Taylor, Sydney Levin, Bridget Dugan, Autumn Lewis and Arielle Stigelman finished out the roster in the run.
Emma Frazier from Franklin & Marshall won the women's race to come in at 20:04.70. Millersville cross country alum Sarah Mulvey ran a 19:46.10 to grab 24th position. Franklin & Marshall Alumni Michael Whalen won the race with defining 38 second lead to post a 16:08.60. Chris Ecker '09 was the top Millersville alum, finishing third with a time of 16:56.5.
The Marauders travel to Lebanon, Pa., to participate in the Dutchmen Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 9.
