GAME OVERVIEW
• The Marauders enter their second game of the season after drawing with Wildcat Invitational hosts Wilmington University Thursday.
• Senior
Kody Eberly converted a penalty kick to give the Marauders the lead at the end of the first half. The Wildcats answered by converting a one-on-one opportunity in the final 12 minutes of regulation. The teams battled back and forth through two overtimes but did not break the stalemate.
• Millersville recorded 12 shots and 11 shots on goal against the Wildcats and will look to convert on more scoring chances against the Bears.

• Millersville and Bloomfield have played six games since 1999, and the Marauders have dominated the series with six straight wins over the Bears.

• Both teams had scoring opportunities in the first half but entered the locker room tied 0-0. In the second half,
Christopher Sosa converted a penalty kick in the 69th minute to give Millersville the lead and
Omar Guzman bought the Marauders insurance with a second goal in the 76th minute. Bloomfield scored a goal in the 84th minute but failed to earn an equalizer against the Marauder defense.
SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
• Bloomfield was picked to finish 10th in their conference after finishing 5-10-2 in 2016 and their head coach stepping down in July 2017.
• The Bears started their 2017 campaign with a 3-2 win over the University of the District of Columbia at the Wildcat Invitational.
• Bloomfield entered halftime down 1-0 before ripping off three goals in the opening 18 minutes of the second half. UDC answered in the 80th minute, but the Bears held on and earned the win.
• The Millersville defense will need to mark every member of the Bloomfield defense after the Bears proved they could score from all sides with three goals from three different players against UDC.
