ABOUT THE MARAUDERS
• Millersville enters the weekend ranked No. 12 in the Collegiate Baseball Poll and 25th by the NCBWA. Millersville is off to a 4-4 start in the PSAC East after splitting series with Kutztown and Mansfield. After losing just two of 37 games at home in 2015 and 2016, Millersville is just 4-4 at The Coop this season. The Marauders are hitting just .227 as a team in home games and have hit just two homers while averaging a mere 2.75 runs per game. The saving grace in the home games has been Millersville's outstanding pitching. On their home mound, Marauder pitchers have held opponents to a .183 batting average and 2.25 runs per game. In six combined home starts, Tyler Yankosky, David Manasek and Eli Nabholz have allowed just three total runs and 13 total hits over 39 innings. Manasek has not allowed an earned run in two starts, and Nabholz is 2-0 with two complete games, 15 innings pitched and 18 strikeouts to just one walk. Nabholz most recently threw the sixth no-hitter in Millersville history, beating Mansfield, 5-1. Nabholz was named PSAC East Pitcher of the Week for a third time.
• Dan Neff entered 2017 with five career homers, and he has hit four already in 2017, leading the team. Neff also has two triples, boosting his career total to 10, which is tied for the Millersville career record. Neff also ranks fifth in the PSAC in stolen bases.
• Chas McCormick is a perfect 15-for-15 in stolen bases, ranking third in the PSAC. He stole five bases in the series against Mansfield, bringing his career total to 76, ranking third all-time at Millersville. Earlier this season, he passed his older brother, Ryan, who totaled 63 steals. Dating back to last season, McCormick has stolen 19 bases in a row without being caught. He has safely stolen 29 bases in his last 30 attempts.

SERIES HISTORY
• The rivalry between Millersville and West Chester has become one of the most competitive in the PSAC in recent years. Since Jon Shehan took over at Millersville in 2008, he is 19-19 against West Chester. Prior to Shehan's arrival, Millersville was just 27-62 against West Chester (dating to 1957). The clubs have split 10 meetings over the last two seasons, but West Chester has won both of the most recent postseason games including beating the Marauders 9-7 in the 2016 PSAC championship game. Millersville has won five of the last six regular season series, going 3-1 in 2011, 2012, 2014 and 2016 while scoring a series sweep in 2013. The clubs split the regular season series in 2015. Last season, Millersville won the first three games of the series before falling in the finale, 19-5. In game three of the series, Dan Stoltzfus hit a grand slam in the seventh inning to help the Marauders to a 6-5 win.
• Millersville and West Chester have finished first and second in the PSAC East standings in each of the last two seasons, and since 2008, only Millersville and West Chester have won PSAC East titles. Millersville has six and West Chester won three.

ABOUT THE OPPONENT
• West Chester enters the weekend ranked No. 28 in the Collegiate Baseball Newspaper Poll and 18th in the NCBWA Poll. The Golden Rams opened the PSAC East slate with a sweep of East Stroudsburg but split last weekend's series with Shippensburg. Still, the Golden Rams are tied for first place with Lock Haven.
• West Chester's pitching has been strong. The staff ranks second in the PSAC with a 3.02 ERA. The starting staff is led by Jon Fisher, who is 2-1 with a 0.64 ERA in four starts and five appearances. He has allowed just two earned runs all season. Despite a 1-2 record, Mike Cipolla owns a 1.21 ERA in four starts. Bullpen arms Joe Kinee (1.17 ERA) and Josh McClain (2.12 ERA) have combined for a 5-0 record and two saves.
• West Chester ranks eighth in the PSAC in batting average, but the engine driving the lineup is Shane Dressler. Dressler leads all PSAC East hitters with a .456 average. He has eight extra base hits including three triples.
