Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania -- Senior Danielle Freed finished eight and sophomore Danielle Greene finished ninth as the Millersville women's golf team finished third at the East Stroudsburg University Invitational Monday.

Freed shot an 83 during the first round before improving with a 79 in the second round. Freed finished 18 over par at the tournament. Greene stayed consistent and shot an 82 in each round to finish 20 over par.

Junior Alexa Strong began the tournament with an 85 in the first round and an 89 in the second round to 12th overall. Freshman Joelie Bennett shot an 89 in the first round and an improved 88 in the second round to finish tied for 14th. Senior Victoria Kramer rounded out the five player squad for the Marauders. Kramer shot a 98 during the first round and 101 in the second round to finish 21st.

The Millersville women's golf team's regular season is finished, and now the team must wait to find out their post season possibilities.
