GAME OVERVIEW
• The Millersville women's basketball team held on to the sixth seed in the PSAC East and travels to Kutztown Monday for a rubber match that will determine who moves on to the quarterfinals of the PSAC Tournament.
• The two sides are riding opposite waves coming into the matchup, with the Marauders losing six in a row while Kutztown has won three straight and six of its las seven games.
• Both teams have won at home this year, with the Golden Bears edging out Millersville by two last Saturday. The Marauders are coming off a heart-breaking loss at Cheyney Saturday as the Wolves scored with 1.5 seconds left to take the game. That loss was the second in two games in which Millersville fell by two points.
• The Marauders will hope to have a big performance from sophomore
Kendra Bamberger who has emerged as a presence in the Millersville lineup down the stretch, scoring 13 or more points in three of the last four games.
• As a team, the Marauders have shot below 40 percent in seven of its last eight games, including 29 percent in the last matchup with Kutztown.
• Tip off is scheduled for 7 p.m. with the winner advancing to the next round of the PSAC Tournament.

• The Golden Bears have four players averaging 11 points or more including Alex Heck who checks in with 12.9 points per game. Heck is also strong on the boards, pulling down 7.1 rebounds per game. Teammate Kelsey Watson is 10th in the PSAC in rebounding with 223 boards on the season and is scoring 11.2 points per game.
• Sierra Taylor ranks third on the team in points, but is as sure-handed as they come, ranking fifth in the PSAC with an assist-to-turnover margin of 1.9.
•Averaging just over 67 points per game, Kutztown struggles in the fourth as they have been outscored by 24 points in the last quarter of games.
THE LAST MATCHUP (Feb. 18, 2017: KU 51, MU 49)
• Lopsided second and third quarters (32-12) propelled the Golden Bears to a two-point victory the last time the two teams met in Kutztown. No one player had a dominant game, but four players scored seven or more points for Kutztown as Jenna Altomare led the team with 12 points and Kelsey Watson scored nine and grabbed eight rebounds in the effort.
•
Alayah Hall scored 13 points and registered six rebounds but no other Marauder reached double figures. Despite eight points and seven rebounds from senior
Courtney Hinnant, Kutztown edged out Millersville in fast break points (12-10) and had the upper hand in points off turnovers scoring 20 to the Marauders' 15.
• With Millersville shooting just 29 percent in the game, the Golden Bears were only slightly better going 19-56 (33.9 percent) from the field.
