Millersville caps season with four-set win over Lock Haven

Lock Haven, Pa. - The Millersville women's volleyball team scored its 18th victory of 2017 Saturday, taking down Lock Haven 3-1 (25-12, 25-17, 20-25, 25-21).
Millersville finished its season 18-10 overall and 9-9 in PSAC action, posting its best overall winning percentage since 1998. Senior Erin Harman led the way Saturday, recording her team-leading 14th double-double. She tallied 14 kills and 16 digs. Lindsey Blevins matched Harman's 14 kills, and Katie Laughman picked up 42 assists--her sixth 40-assists performance of the season. Kelsi Ceriani added an efficient nine kills to two errors in her final match as a Marauder.
Lexy Coldsmith, Renee Drawbaugh and Kat Forry each had two aces as the Marauders totaled 10.
The Marauders rolled in the opening set, recording 15 kills to two errors while holding Lock Haven to just four kills. Millersville notched at least 12 kills in all four sets and finished with a .206 hitting percentage.
Harman finished her Millersville career with 1,325 kills and 1,226 digs, ranking second all-time in kills and sixth in digs.
The Marauders graduate five players, but nine of Millersville's top 11 in sets played were freshmen and sophomores.
