Millersville cruises past Cheyney

Cheyney, Pa. - The Millersville women's volleyball team swept Cheyney 3-0 (25-7, 25-12, 25-6) in PSAC volleyball action Saturday morning.
Millersville was led by Courtney Turocy's career-high nine kills on just 10 attack attempts. Nine Marauders recorded at least one kill. The Marauders committed just five attack errors and hit .525 while Cheyney totaled eight kills in the entire match.
Erin Harman posted nine of Millersville's season-high 19 service aces.
Millersville recorded 13 kills two two errors in the first set, 11 kills to two errors in the second and 12 kills to one error in the third.
The Marauders improved to 12-5 (5-4 PSAC) with the win while Cheyney dropped to 0-16 (0-10 PSAC).
Millersville returns to Millersville on Oct. 19, starting a three-match home stand.
