West Chester, Pennsylvania - Courtney Hinnant scored 20 points and pulled down 11 rebounds and Celeste Robinson scored a game-high 21 points, but Millersville could not keep up with the balanced attack of West Chester as the Golden Rams defeated the Marauders 78-66. West Chester had five players score in double figures and outscored the Millersville bench 16-6.

The Marauders turned the ball over 19 times and watched the Golden Rams convert those turnovers into 24 points. Both teams shot around 41 percent from the field, but West Chester shot 25 percent from three while Millersville struggled from beyond the arc, going just 2-14.

West Chester would jump out to an early lead when Alexis Anderson hit back to back buckets to make the score 6-2. With the score 8-4, Millersville would go on an 11-2 run and take control of the first quarter. After the Golden Rams hit a free throw but Celeste Robinson answered with a layup fo make the score 17-11. West Chester would end the first on a 6-2 run as the Marauders clung to a two-point lead at the end of the first quarter. 

Robinson would score four points in a row to start the second as Millersville took a five point lead. Camden Boehner would hit back-to-back three-pointers as the Golden Rams cut the lead to one point. The rivals would trade buckets the rest of the half but Robinson hit a jumper to give the Marauders a two point lead going into the break.

Courtney Hinnant would get the ball in the paint and convert layups on the first two possessions of the third quarter and Millersville would jump out to a six point lead minutes later as Robinson found Hinnant for her 16th point of the game. With the score 48-43, the Golden Rams began to charge back, going on an 11-0 run and would take a four point lead into the fourth quarter. 

Millersville would cut the lead to two when Hinnant scored her 18th point but West Chester scored four unanswered forcing a Mary Fleig timeout. The Golden Rams would extend their lead to nine when Boehner scored in the paint to make the score 63-54. The Marauders could not climb back into the game as West Chester dominated down the stretch and cruised to victory. 

The loss makes it three in a row for Millersville who now stands at 6-11 (4-8 PSAC) but returns home Saturday to host Kutztown at 1 p.m.
