Millersville women's cross country team finishes sixth

Newark, Delaware – The Millersville women's cross country team finished sixth out of six at the Delaware Cross Country Invitational at White Clay Creek State Park.

Senior runner Shannon Cruz led the Marauders with her top-20 finish. Cruz finished her race 19th out of 100 with a time of 25:02.75.

Senior runner Megan O'Neill finished second for the Marauders and posted a top-50 finish. O'Neill finished 49th with a time of 27:56.71.

Freshman Olivia Hogue finished 76th with a time of 30:21.94. Junior Aniya Gibbs finished 80th with a time of 30:59.98. Sophomore Madie Tropp finished right behind Gibbs with a time of 31:06.17, good for 81st. Freshman Brianna Landis capped off the Marauders finishing 88th with a time of 32:25.93.

The Millersville women's cross country team's next event is The Lock Haven Invitational on Sept. 24, 2016 at 11 a.m. Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference rival Lock Haven is hosting the invitational.
