
Strong Spring Continues at East Stroudsburg

East Stroudsburg, Pa. - Both Kiara Allen and Vanessa Hower won their respective events at the East Stroudsburg All-American Meet with Allen registering an NCAA provisional time. Allen paced the field in the 100-meter dash, running an 11.95, which was also a meet record. Vanessa Hower won her third hammer throw event of the week (Bucknell and Shippensburg) with a distance of 172-1 and Sunflower Greene finished second with a mark of 161-7.
Allen was also part of the 4x400-meter relay along with Erin Madison, Courtney Ingold and Clara Forney who clocked a 3:58.00 and won the event. Greene came in second in the discus and the shot put with a personal record toss of 143-2 and a 43-6 meter mark in the shot put.
Maddie Tropp registered a PSAC qualifying time in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 15.46 which was also a personal record and good for a third place finish.
The Marauders will return to the track Thursday as they take part in the Penn Relays.
