McCormick Named PSAC East Athlete of the Week

Lock Haven, Pa. - Millersville's junior right fielder Chas McCormick helped his baseball team to a four-game sweep of PSAC East foe Bloomsburg and was named PSAC Eastern Division Athlete of the Week on Monday.
McCormick went 7-for-13 (.538) with three doubles, a triple, six RBIs and five runs scored. McCormick also drew three walks to lead the team with a .625 on base percentage.
McCormick closed the series with three consecutive multi-hit and multi-RBI games. He had a double in each of those three games. In the doubleheader at Bloomsburg, McCormick went 5-for-7 with four RBIs and four runs. He closed the series by going 3-for-3 with two runs, two RBIs, a double, triple and walk.
It is the second PSAC East weekly award for McCormick, who won it on March 30, 2015. McCormick is hitting .343 with a .426 on base percentage and leads the team with four triples.
