ABOUT THE GAMES
• Millersville, ranked No. 2 in Division II by both the Collegiate Baseball and NCBWA polls, has won eight in a row and 20 in a row at Cooper Park. The last time the Marauders lost at home was April 17, 2015. Since then, they have outscored opponents 175-37 in home games. Bloomsburg enters the weekend with a 20-14 overall record, a 7-9 PSAC East mark and an 8-8 record in road games. The Huskies had ripped off eight consecutive wins before being swept by West Chester last weekend. Millersville has won three consecutive PSAC East titles and has a four-game lead and the head-to-head tiebreaker over both East Stroudsburg and West Chester. Millersville has not lost a PSAC East series since March of 2012--a streak of 24.
• Of the 15 PSAC players hitting over .400, three of them are Marauders. Mitch Stoltzfus leads the PSAC (and the nation) in hitting with a .504 average. Dan Stoltzfus ranks seventh at .422 and Tyler Orris is 10th at .412. M. Stoltzfus is one of only three players in Division II hitting over .500, and he's had 19 more at bats than one of the players and 49 more than the other.
• M. Stoltzfus and Orris have been especially good at Cooper Park. In 13 games at home, Stoltzfus is hitting .548 with eight extra base hits. Orris' average is identical and has 17 RBIs and 12 walks for a .625 on base percentage. All four Marauder starters have ERA's of 3.60 or lower at home. Reid Anderson's 2.00 is tops. All four have also thrown complete games at home.
• Orris has been the consummate leadoff hitter. He is 33-for-65 (.508) when leading off an inning. Orris is just 12 hits and seven stolen bases shy of Millersville records in those categories. He currently ranks seventh in PSAC history in hits with 256 and sixth all-time in steals with 90. He is also closing in on the PSAC assists record, which was set by West Chester's Nick Spisak at 636 in 2010. Orris has 608 and is averaging just over three assists per game this season.
• Game one starter Brandon Miller has quite a track record at Cooper Park. In eight career starts at home, Miller is 6-0 with a 1.76 ERA, allowing just 10 runs in 51 innings. He's also struck out 51 while walking eight. Four of those walks came in two starts during his freshman season. Over the last two seasons, Miller is 5-0 with a 1.50 ERA and 43 strikeouts to four walks.

SERIES HISTORY
• Millersville scored 53 runs in a four-game sweep of Bloomsburg in 2015, marking the most runs scored in a PSAC East since 2001. Millersville hit .428 and totaled 59 hits in the series. Chas McCormick hit three homers. David Summerfield went 10-for-16 and D. Stoltzfus went 8-for-13 with 12 RBIs. Bloomsburg managed to score four runs off of Miller in his six-inning start.
• Under Jon Shehan, Millersville has swept the series in 2008, 2013 and 2015 while Bloomsburg scored a split in 2012 and 2014. Bloomsburg's last series win came in 2007 with a sweep. The Marauders went 9-37 that season.

ABOUT THE OPPONENTS
• Bloomsburg can hit. Austin Edgette is the reigning PSAC East Athlete of the Week and ranks second in the PSAC with a .484 average. His .546 on base percentage is second in the league. Bloomsburg's .331 average is third highest in the PSAC and its 41 homers are tied for second. Ryan Kirman's 14 home runs leads the league. Joey Casselberry's 49 RBIs place him eight in Division II.
• Bloomsburg, however, ranks eighth in team ERA at 5.53 and has issued 83 walks, which is second-most in the league. Opponents are hitting .305. Fielding has also been an issue at times. The Huskies are 11th in the league with a .952 fielding percentage. Look for the Marauders to challenge on the base paths. Millersville has swiped 68-of-83 bases while Bloomsburg has allowed 54 stolen bases, throwing out just seven.
