
Hower, Harman Shine in Bill Butler Invitational

West Chester, Pa. - Vanessa Hower re-set her own Millersville record in the hammer throw with a toss of 52.71, which was also an NCAA provisional mark Sunday at the Bill Butler Invitational hosted by West Chester.
Erin Madison placed first in the 800-meter dash, running a PSAC qualifying time and personal recrod of 2:16.32. Courtney Ingold won her first ever college event, with her own PSAC qualifying and personal record time of 59.70.
Erin Harman launched herself into first place in the pole vault with an 3.40 meter jump. Harman also placed seventh in the long jump with a mark of 15-05.50.
Sunflower Greene and Deja Loose placed second and fourth respectively in the shot put with tosses of 12.94 and 10.77 meters. Greene also finished third in the discus, registering a distance of 36.48 meters.
Millersville will next compete in the Mondschein Multi April 14-15 in Kutztown.
