Millersville SAAC to Host 5K for Make-A-Wish

Millersville, Pa. - The Millersville University Student-Athlete Advisor Committee (SAAC) is hosting its first 5K For A Wish on Sunday, April 17 with proceeds benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
The 5K For A Wish race costs $20 per participant with all encouraged to participate regardless of skill level. Strollers and pets on leashes are also permitted. Participants will also receive a t-shirt. The event begins at 9 a.m. from 105 Pucillo Drive in Millersville and the course will run through the Millersville University campus.
Registration for the event is required and all participants must sign a waiver form. Registration is available online, in person in the Student Memorial Center room 103 or by phone at 717-871-7600.
The Millersville SAAC raised $5,000 for Make-A-Wish during the 2014-15 academic year and was granted the opportunity to reveal a wish to a local child during a basketball game. All proceeds generated from the 5K For A Wish will go directly to Make-A-Wish. For more information about Make-A-Wish, click here.
