
Pair of Marauders Place Second in Crusader Challenge

Selinsgrove, Pa. - The Millersville women's track and field team showed well on Saturday at the Crusader Challenge as Arianna Camel, Erin Madison, Kiara Allen, and Clara Forney all posted PSAC qualifying efforts.
Allen qualified in the 60-meter dash and finished second overall with a time of 7.84. Ariana Camel also placed fifth in the 60-meter dash and registered a PSAC-qualifying time of 8.17.
Allen, Clara Forney and Courtney Ingold all placed in the top six in the 200-meter dash with Allen's 26.66 time earning a third overall finish and qualifying her for the PSAC Championships in the event.
In the 800-meter dash, Amanda Long and Erin Madison finished seventh and eighth respectively. Madison's effort qualified her for the PSAC's in the 800. Madison also finished second in the 60-meter hurdles with a personal best time of 9.07.
Vanessa Hower placed third in the weight throw with a distance of 47-8 1/2. Hower's teammate Amanda Myers placed ninth with a toss of 42-4 3/4.
The Marauders have a quick turn around as they head to Kutztown Wednesday for the Mid-Week Multi which starts at 10 a.m.
