Box Score Florence, S.C. – No. 14 Millersville baseball topped Saint Rose 14-3 Saturday afternoon with
Jim McDade picking up the victory on the mound tossing five strong innings.
Kyle Peterson worked through a scoreless sixth and seventh, and
Eric Ligda also threw a scoreless inning out of the bullpen before
Matt Binder closed out the ninth with two strikeouts.

Saint Rose got on the board first in the second inning when Mike Flynn singled to center field bringing home teammates Tom Moore and Mike Flynn. The Golden Knights held the 2-0 lead until Millersville's offense exploded for five runs in the fourth inning.

Dan Stoltzfus and
Mitch Stoltzfus got things started in the fourth with singles with Mitch's rip scoring McCormick from second base.
David Summerfield cleared the bases with a triple down the left field line. And the very next batter
John Brogan homered to center field giving the Marauders the 5-2 lead.

Mitch Stolzfus smacked his second homer of the season in the sixth. Stolzfus finished 4-for-4 with three RBI's and three runs.

The Marauders tagged Saint Rose's bullpen in the bottom of the eighth as the team batted around the lineup.
Dan Stoltzfus had two doubles and a RBI in the inning along with Brogan who also doubled home a run.
Tyler Orris,
Jeremy Musser and
Mitch Stoltzfus also had RBIs in the inning.

Millersville plays its final game in South Carolina on Sunday when it plays Francis Marion at 1 p.m.
