PSAC TOURNAMENT HISTORY
• The Marauders return to the PSAC Tournament for the second straight year and the ninth time under the helm of head coach
Steve Widdowson, traveling to Gannon Tuesday. Millersville made the 2015 PSAC Tournament after a two-year hiatus, earning the number two seed and falling in the championship to Mercyhurst. The Lakers repeated as champions and will hose the 2016 tournament.
HOW THEY GOT HERE
• The Millersville men's soccer team finished the 2016 regular season sixth in the PSAC, qualifying them for the tournament which takes them to Gannon Tuesday. The Marauders will face the Golden Knights at 6 p.m. with the winner facing West Chester Friday at 6 p.m. in Erie.
• Gannon finished the season 11-5-1 (7-3-1 PSAC) earning them the number three seed. The Golden Knights helped Millersville get into the tournament, beating East Stroudsburg 1-0 in double overtime Saturday. Had the Warriors won, the Marauders would have been knocked out of postseason contention.Â
THE REMATCH
• Tuesday's game will represent a rematch between Millersville and Gannon. The Golden Knights and Marauders squared off October 24 at Pucillo Field with Gannon out-striking Millersville 5-2.
• The Marauders got on the board first against Gannon when
Jaxson Burns collected a rebound and fired it into the back of the net to put Millersville up 1-0. Gannon would go on a tear, scoring five unanswered goals en route to a 5-2 victory. Mathias Krigbaum scored a hat trick and Hamza Mourchid scored a pair lifting the Golden Knights to victory.
Marcus Frangakis would add a goal late making the score 5-2.
TALE OF THE TAPE
• Millersville and Gannon rank 2-3 in terms of goals scored with 41 and 38 respectively. The Golden Knights have the edge over Millersville in goals allowed, conceding only 21 goals compared to the Marauders 28.
• The 2016 Millersville attack was a balanced one, boasting seven players who registered three or more goals.

Omar Guzman all totaled five goals while
Christopher Sosa and
Nathan Delgado tallied four.Â
• Hamza Mourchid led the PSAC with 22 goals scored while teammate Mathias Krigbaum ranked second on the team with six.Â

Darian McCauley posted a record of 9-5-2 record, recording 64 saves and six shutouts as a true freshman.
• Jorge Hernandez went 10-4-1 for Gannon and registered four shutouts and 42 saves.Â
