LOCK HAVEN. Pa. -Â The PSAC's Eastern Division preseason poll, released by the league's coaches, has Millersville men's soccer ranked second heading into the 2025 season.
Head coach
Steve Widdowson enters his 19th season leading the Marauders, determined to capture the program's sixth PSAC Championship. Millersville closed the 2024 campaign second in the conference with a 6-2-2 PSAC record and a 9-6-3 overall mark.
Millersville closed the 2024 season just behind Bloomsburg's 7-2-1 conference mark. The Huskies went on to claim the PSAC Tournament crown and edged the Marauders for the top spot in this year's preseason poll by a single vote.
The Marauders enter the 2025 season without two key graduates — All-PSAC East First Team defender
Jake Altimore and All-PSAC East Second Team attacker
Richy Valverde, the team's leading scorer in 2024. Leading the list of returners is All-PSAC First Team midfielder
Roy Parkyn, who ranked second on the squad with nine points last season. Other notable returners include
Matias Schmidt,
Kehmar Green,
Haven Thomas,
Mikhil Patil, and
Louis Wright.

In the Western Dvision, Gannon claimed the top spot in the 2025 preseason poll, earning five first-place votes after finishing first in last year's standings with a 7-0-3 record.Â
Millersville opens the 2025 season with a non-conference matchup at home against Salem University Thursday, Sep. 4.
