THOUGHTS FROM HEAD COACH STEVE WIDDOWSON
  • What did you like about the team's first half performance?: "I thought we played superbly in the first half and probably the only thing we lacked was getting a second goal. We controlled the game well, executed the game plan and showed some great patterns of play. I thought it was a first half to set the standard of our play for moving forward"
  • What was your message to the team after falling behind with 15 min to go?: "We didn't really say too much. The goal we gave up were just individual errors which are going to happen on occasion. The players did a great job of picking each other up and then we adjusted a few players to get more attacking, and I thought we thoroughly deserved the tie and might have even won it in the last few minutes"
