Sabrina Fusco Garners PSAC Freshman of the Year Accolades

Lock Haven, Pa. – The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) released the All-PSAC Lacrosse teams on Wednesday afternoon and Millersville women's lacrosse attacker Sabrina Fusco was honored as Freshman of the Year and as a third team selection.
Fusco becomes the program's first-ever PSAC Freshman of the Year after finishing third in the league with 52 goals scored as well as tying for 13th with 63 points. The Garnet Valley product scored three or more goals in 10 of the team's 17 games and led the Marauders with 71 shots on goal on the year.
Fusco began the year with a seven-goal outburst against Holy Family, marking a season-high by any Marauder and concluded the year by pacing the offensive attack on Senior Day with four goals. The Glen Mills Pa., native accounted for three game-winning goals and converted 10 of her 16 free position shots into goals.
Fusco's 52 goals marked the most by a Millersville freshman surpassing previous record holder Stephanie McClay who held the mark, scoring 34 goals in 1985.
