Men's Basketball Gives Back with Into the Streets

Millersville, Pa. - The Millersville men's basketball team gave back to the community as part of Into the Streets and visited the Lititz United Methodist Church on Saturday, April 18 for a clean-up project. The help provided came in coordination with the Volunteer Central's spring community service event.

Into the Streets is a campus-wide day of service for the Millersville student body, faculty and staff to participate in multiple community service projects around the Lancaster area. Individuals, student groups, Greeks, and teams are encouraged to participate in this day of service. Into the Streets provides needed services to non-profit organizations and connects students to the local area.

Members of the team that were in attendance for the project included Demerik Weglinski, Tommy Patterson, Jerrin Ball, Shawn Williams, Tavon Parker, Sam Light, and assistant coach Charlie Parker. Pictures of the guys in action can be found in a Facebook gallery by clicking here.
