Millersville, Pa. - Millersville baseball's home debut has been delayed again. The four-game series with Indiana (Pa.) originally scheduled for Saturday and Sunday at home will now be played on Sunday and Monday in Kinston, N.C.
The games will be played at Grainger Stadium, the former home of the Kinston Indians, which was a High-A affiliate of the Cleveland Indians before the franchise left town in 2011. Sunday's doubleheader features a nine-inning contest in game one and seven-inning contest in game two. The doubleheader begins at 1 p.m. Monday's doubleheader begins at 12 p.m. and features the nine/seven format.
Millersville is 7-2 and ranked No. 20 in the NCBWA Division II Poll and No. 27 by D2BaseballNews.com. The Marauders carry a six-game winning streak into the series. IUP is 2-2 after splitting a series with Winston-Salem State and hasn't played since Feb. 14.
