GAME OVERVIEW
• The Millersville women's basketball team is coming off a 64-50 loss to Shippensburg on Wednesday and enters its final regular season game of the 2014-15 season with an overall record of 11-15 including an 8-13 mark in PSAC play. The Raiders outscored the Marauders 41-23 in the second half. Individually, Millersville was led by 13 points apiece from both Alex Stam and Shelby Reimer. Alexis Martin led the team in both rebounds (nine) and steals (three) to go with her six points, one assist and one block.

• Millersville must win on Saturday and needs a Kutztown loss at East Stroudsburg in order to qualify for the PSAC Tournament that begins on Feb. 28. The Golden Bears lost their first meeting to the Warriors in Kutztown on Jan. 24 by a score of 73-80 in double overtime. Bloomsburg has won three of the last four against Millersville inside Pucillo Gymnasium.

• Meanwhile, Bloomsburg won at Kutztown on Wednesday by a score of 71-58. In that game, the Huskies were led by a quartet of  scorers in double figures including Jocelyn Ford (15), Marla Simmons (12), Erica Maciejewski (11), and Taylor Maldonado (10). As a team, Bloomsburg shot 43.1 percent (28-of-65) from the field including 7-for-21 from 3-point land. The Huskies also made eight of their nine attempts at the free throw line.

• Alex Stam is coming off of a career night against Shippensburg on Wednesday. The junior guard turned in a career-high 13 points on 5-of-9 shooting including three makes in seven attempts from behind the arc. Stam also registered three assists and two rebounds in the loss. She has now made at least one 3-pointer in six of the last seven games and 20 of the team's 26 total games. Prior to this season, she had never scored in double figures but has done so on three occasions in 2014-15. 

• Individually, Bloomsburg is led by three scorers averaging double figures including Marla Simmons (13.9), Taylor Maldonado (10.9) and Adreana Sadowski (10.8). Simmons is also second in the league in free throw percentage (87.2 percent), seventh in minutes played per game (33.9) and eighth in assist to turnover ratio (+1.5). The senior from Lebanon, Pa. has scored at least 10 points 17 times this season and reached the 20-point mark five times including a career-high 30 points on Jan. 31 at Shippensburg which included the game-winning basket. When she last played Millersville, Simmons had a double double with 22 points, 10 rebounds, four assists, and three steals in 38 minutes of action.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
• No. 19 Bloomsburg is one of the hottest teams in the country with an overall mark of 21-3, which includes an 18-2 record in conference action. The Huskies have only lost once since the beginning of January and it took West Chester, who is the second-best team in the East, overtime to do so. Bloomsburg is beating teams by an average of nearly 14 points per game and has had great results on both ends of the floor. The Huskies are first in the PSAC in scoring defense (58.2 points per game) and fifth in scoring offense (72.0 points per game). The Huskies are also fourth in field goal percentage (42.7 percent), third in field goal percentage defense (37.5 percent), third in three point field goal percentage (36.7 percent), and eighth in three point field goal percentage defense (31.7 percent).
