GAME OVERVIEW
• Millersville returns after a week away from the court with a pair of PSAC Eastern Division road games at Cheyney and Lock Haven. Uncharacteristically, the Marauders only play six games in the month of December and so far Millersville has stumbled falling against PSAC foes Kutztown, Seton Hill and California (Pa.). The Marauders have lost six-straight games and it's the first time since the 2011-12 season the Marauders have lost that many consecutive descisions. Millersville finished the 2011-12 season with an overall record of 9-17 and were 7-15 in the PSAC.
 • A quartet of Marauders are averaging double figures to begin the season. Senior guard Shawn Williams is averaging 17.7 points per game, while junior Cornell Yarde II is at 13.3, Ricky Mosley scores 11.3 points per contest and forward Demerik Weglinski chips in 10.4 points per game.
• Ricky Mosley has elevated his play of late, scoring 20-plus points in consecutive games and has scored in double figures in four of the Marauders nine games this season. Mosley struggled from 3-point range through the first seven games of the year, but in the last two the Central York product has been lethal shooting 13-of-20 from downtown.
 • Millersville is among the best rebounding teams in the PSAC, ranking eighth averaging 38.0 rebounds per game. Much of Millersville's damage on the boards is done on offense where it averages 14.2 rebounds per contest, which is good for second best in the conference. Demerik Weglinski, No. 6 in the PSAC and No. 3 in the Eastern Division averages 9.2 per game, is a big reason why the Marauders are controlling the glass. Weglinski's 4.4 offensive rebounds are the best in the league.
• Millersville has won eight of the last nine games over Cheyney but the games have hardly been lopsided. The last five games have been decided by an average of 4.1 points per game. Nine of the last 11 games have been decided by 10 points or fewer as Millersville has also won five in a row in Cope Hall starting in 2011. The Wolves feature a trio of double figure scorers including Rafig Marshall who averages a team-high 15.3 points per game. Marshall has scored 10 or more points in five of Cheyney's eight games.
• Lock Haven returns to action this week looking to extend its win streak. The Bald Eagles are 8-2 overall and 4-2 in PSAC action. LHU is riding a six-game win streak and has won four-straight PSAC games. Lock Haven is also a perfect 4-0 at home and hosts first-place Kutztown and Millersville this week. On the season, the Bald Eagles have three players averaging double-digit scoring including Tracy Peal (11.5 points per game), Bootsie Walker (10.9 points per game) and Brahieme Jackson (10.4 points per game).

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
• Millersville and Cheyney has been a notoriously close matchup in recent years with eight of the last 11 games decided by single digits, including the last four, decided by a total of 13 points. Millersville has won four consecutive over the Wolves. Last year, the Marauders won both matchups in OT as senior Kelvin Parker made the difference. Parker sent the game on Feb. 13 into overtime with a driving hoop and then gave the Marauders the lead for good with a dunk and assist to Sam Light on back-to-back plays. Millersville denied Cheyney on its final offensive possession for a 70-68 win.
• Since taking over the program in March 2011, Mike Nestor was charged with rebuilding the Bald Eagle basketball program, and he's done just that leading LHU to back-to-back PSAC playoff appearances. However, Millersville knocked off Lock Haven in both post season tournaments including a 74-67 decision a season ago. The Marauders built a 15-point lead but a lengthy shooting slump allowed visiting Lock Haven to take control of the game in the second half. A Sam Light corner 3-pointer off a broken play ended a streak of 15 consecutive Marauder misses from three and propelled Millersville to a 20-9 run over the final four minutes propelling Millersville to victory.
