Ali named CSC Academic All-District

MILLERSVILLE, Pa. - For his performance in the classroom and on the court, Millersville University's Saraj Ali has been named College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District®.
Ali, an All-PSAC East First Team selection for the Marauders, advances to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot as a finalist. Those honorees will be announced on April 15. To qualify as an Academic All-District® performer, players must hold a GPA of 3.50 or higher and start in 60% of their team's games.
Ali boasts a 3.50 cumulative GPA as a business marketing major. In his first season at Millersville, Ali averaged 14.9 points and 7.0 rebounds per game while shooting 59.6% from the field. He scored his 1,000th career point during the season, scored a career-high 30 points at Shippensburg on Feb. 2, and scored 23 in the PSAC Semifinals against eventual tournament champion Gannon.
