Cross Country Takes Third Place at Blue and Gold Invitational

Newark, Del. - Millersville's cross country team finished in the middle spot at the University of Delaware Blue and Gold Invitational, taking third place at the meet. The Marauders finished above both Immaculata and Delaware Tech but fell short against winner Monmouth and second place Delaware.
Millersville was led once again by 15th-place overall finisher Natalie Crum, who completed the 6K race with a time of 24:17.
Back in action for the Marauders was Abigail Daley, who finshed the meet with a time of 25:04 finishing in 26th place. Other placing finishers included Samantha Martin in 30th with a time of 25:52. A little over a minute behind her was Taylour Mauro's 37th-place finish at 26:56. Newcomer Natalie Thomas was the last of the scoring Marauders hitting the finish line with a time of 27:32 in 44th.
Millersville's next cross country meet is on Oct. 17 at 11 a.m. in Gettysburg, Pa.
