GAME OVERVIEW
• Millersville hopes a return home to Pucillo Gymnasium can help snap a two-game skid that dropped the Marauders three games under .500. Millersville is 5-2 at home with the two losses coming by a total of three points. Saturday's game marks the start to the home stretch of the schedule as 12 of the final 13 games are against the PSAC East. Millersville is at 3-7 but only a game out of the No. 4 seed and two out of the No. 3 seed.  Cheyney, meanwhile, is in search of its first PSAC win of the season.

• Because of the competitive nature of the series, the Cheyney game is among the most anticipated on the schedule for Millersville each season.  Since Dominique Stephens arrived at Cheyney in 2008, Millersville holds just a 6-5 edge and has won five of the last six games. Seven of the last 10 games have been decided by single digits and the last three by a total of 11 points. Millersville has won three in a row at home against the Wolves and are 11-5 under Fred Thompson in Pucillo.

• Millersville set a school record and led the PSAC in 3-pointers attempted last season (746) and is on pace to led the league again.  The Marauders have hoisted 361 threes--17 more than second place Cheyney. Millersville ranks third in 3-pointers made but 15th in 3-point shooting percentage. When the Marauders are hitting, the strategy works. Millersville is shooting 39.2 percent from three in its six wins but just 27.1 percent in its losses. Millersville averages just 6.5 made threes in its losses and 9.3 in its wins. Those three makes--nine points--more than makes up Millersville's minus-4.8 points in scoring margin.

• Kelvin Parker has poured in 54 points in the last two games, hitting 22-of-41 shots from the field. He's hit his stride over the last five games, averaging 20.8 points, 6.4 rebounds and 4.0 steals per game. He's hit 52.6 percent oof his shots from the field, 40 percent of his threes and 8-of-8 free throws in that stretch. His consecutive games in double figures streak (25) is the longest since Charlie Parker's 34 straight during the 2005-06 and 2006-07 seasons. Parker has totaled 455 points while at Millersville (16.9 per game). Including his 410 points scored at Mount St. Mary's from 2011-13, Parker is 135 points away from 1,000 in his career. To reach the milestone, Parker needs to average 10.4 points per game over the remaining 13 regular season games.

• Eddie Callender has emerged as one of th emost well-rounded, productive players in the PSAC. Callender ranks 19th in scoring, 14th in rebounding, ninth in blocked shots and 14th in steals. He is the only player in the league to rank in the top 20 in all four categories and no other player ranks in the top 20 in even three categories. As a team, Millersville is second in the league in steals at 10.53 per game.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
• Cheyney enters with Saturday's game with 12 consecutive losses  and an 0-9 PSAC mark. The Wolves have lost all nine PSAC games by at least 10 points. The Wolves' struggles begin on the defensive end where they allow a PSAC-worst 80.6 points per game. Opponents are shooting 49.4 percent against them (ranks 18th) and 38.2 percent from three (ranks 17th). Cheyney has allowed 80-plus points in six consecutive games. Saturday's game should feature plenty of long-distance shooting as Cheyney ranks first in the PSAC in 3-pointers made per game (8.9). It has attempted a league-high 124 threes. Millersville ranks fourth in threes made and third in threes attempted. Kevin Larkin is among the top scorers in the league, averaging 18.6 per game while shooting 52.1 percent from the field and 44.9 percent from three. Those marks rank third and fourth respectively.
