GAME NOTES
· After winning 12 consecutive meetings, Millersville has dropped both games against Lock Haven this season. Lock Haven is in the midst of a historic turnaround. It won just six games last season and went 0-25 the season before. Lock Haven has not won three in a row against Millersville since winning six straight from 1941-1946. Millersville went 49-8 against Lock Haven in that stretch. Just one week ago, Lock Haven earned its first-ever win inside Pucillo Gymnasium. If the Marauders are going to make a postseason run, it will have to win on the road. They are just 2-11, allowing 80.6 points per game and 49.1 percent shooting on the road this season. By comparison, the Marauders allowed just 73.3 points per game and 42.7 percent shooting at home.

· Millersville has long histry of success in the PSAC Tournament. This is Millersville's 22nd appearance since 1983-84 and the ninth under Coach Fred Thompson. Millersville is 19-16 all-time in the tournament with five championships. Millersville is  12-10 in its opening tournament game, and have won five consecutive opening round games. Meanwhile, Lock Haven is making its first PSAC Tournament appearance since 2003 and its first home playoff game since 1989. Lock Haven has already earned its wins in a season since 1990.

· Millersville has relied on its 3-point shooting all season. The Marauders have already set school records for threes made in a game and in a season and make a PSAC-leading 9.7 per game. The Marauders have made nine or more threes 16 times and are 0-5 when making fewer than nine in a game. Lock Haven has given Millersville fits, though. Millersville made 4-of-26 threes on Saturday and 4-of-25 in the first meeting for 15.7 percent. In the 23 other games, Millersville has shot 36 percent.

· Millersville has scored 86-plus points eight times this season and is 9-3 when scoring at least 77 points. And while the team ranks fourth in the PSAC in scoring average, its performance on defense is more important than its offensive results. The Marauders are 2-8 when allowing teams to score 80 or more points and just 1-7 when allowing teams to shoot 50 percent from the field. Millersville ranks 15th in the PSAC in scoring defense.

· If Millersville is to have  a strong finish to the season, it needs Kelvin Parker to score. Parker scored 10 points on Saturday against Lock Haven, marking the second lowest point total of his Marauder career and he did not play in the loss against Shippensburg.  It was just the second game in which he did not make a 3-pointer. Millersville is 4-2 when Parker scores at least 20 points and  5-1 when he hits at least 45 percent of his shots from the field.  Millersville is 7-5 with Parker in the lineup.

ABOUT LOCK HAVEN
·
Millersville must find a way to slow down Wali Hepburn.  The junior leads the PSAC in scoring average  at 21.9 points per game and has led the Bald Eagles in scoring in all but three games this season. He has scored at least 20 points in five of the last six games and 16 times this season. He scored 22 in the first game against Millersville and 21 in the second meeting. He's shot 14-of-24 from the field and 13-of-15 from the line against the Marauders this season. He also scored 30 points in the 2012-13 meeting.
