Box Score Millersville, Pa. – The Marauders proved they were ready for a rematch with Cheyney by sailing past the Wolves 73-45 on Wednesday night. That point total marked the lowest for a Millersville opponent this season.

The Marauders (13-11, 8-6 PSAC East) held Cheyney (4-19, 4-10 PSAC East) to just 11 field goals including only one 3-pointer, both of which tied season-lows for a 2013-14 Millersville opponent. Head coach
Mary Fleig also improved to 25-0 against the Wolves inside Pucillo Gymnasium.

Celeste Robinson has only missed one game all season and it was the 61-60 loss at Cheyney. Robinson let that motivate her from the opening tip and registered her fourth career double-double with a game-high 17 points and 10 rebounds. The Jim Thorpe, Pa. native was 7-of-10 from the field including 1-for-1 from behind the arc and made two of her five free throw attempts. The sophomore guard also had six assists, two blocks and two steals. The Marauders are now 9-4 this season when Robinson makes at least five field goals.

Yasmin Cooper earned her fourth double-double in six games (10 points, 15 rebounds) on 4-of-8 shooting to go with two assists and two blocks.
Senada Mehmedovic was the final Marauder in double figures with 13 points and made five of her 11 field goal attempts including 2-of-6 from 3-point land. In Senada's career, when she scores 10 or more points, Millersville is now 16-3.

Carly Gallagher left the game in the first half with an injury and didn't find the scoring column for the first time in her 67 career games played.

The Marauders opened the game on a 17-2 run and made seven of their first 12 field goal attempts. The run was fueled by seven points from Robinson and five Cheyney turnovers. The home team led by as many as 17 in the first half and went into the locker rooms with a 31-19 advantage.

Out of the intermission, the Wolves cut the margin to as little as 12, 33-21, but no more than that. Millersville increased its lead back to as many as 27 as it was in the final score. The Marauders held Cheyney to just 22 percent shooting (11-of-50) from the floor while owning points in the paint (42-16) and bench scoring (35-8). Millersville tallied a season-high 19 assists while Cheyney had five helpers, the lowest for a Marauder opponent this season.
