GAME NOTES
· With Saturday's win over Kutztown, Millersville clinched its second consecutive PSAC Tournament berth and the ninth under Fred Thompson. The Marauders are locked in a tie with Lock Haven for the No. 4 seed, but Lock Haven holds the tiebreaker, so Millersville must finish one game up on the Bald Eagles to grab a home game in the first round. The schedule is favorable for the Marauders with a head-to-head meeting with Lock Haven looming on Saturday and a road game against last place Shippensburg ahead. First, however, the Marauders must take care of 3-20 Cheyney. Millersville trailed by 15 in the first meeting and rallied for a four-point win. That was one of the team's two road wins this season. Millersville is in search of its second three-game winning streak this season. A win would also put Millersville's record above .500 for the first time this season.

· Kelvin Parker scored 54 points in two games last week and won the PSAC East Athlete of the Week award for the first time in his career. While his little brother Tavon won the  freshman of the week award twice earlier this season, Kelvin is the first to win it this season and the first since Elijah Obade won it the award in December of last season.

· Carl Wallace has made quite an impact since joining the Marauders 13 games ago. Millersville is 8-5 since he was incorporated into the lineup, and in 220:44 of playing time, Wallace owns the team's best plus/minus rating at +4.54 per game and +59 overall. His minutes have steadily increased and he has started the last three games. Wallace has displayed the ability to do a little of everything on the court. Against Kutztown, he scored a career-high 26 points. He's proven to be one of the most active defenders with 1.8 per game over the last five. He's also averaged 2.5 assists per game in that same stretch. He has also become Millersville's top rebounder. In Xavier Mumford's absence, Wallace's rebounding numbers have jumped from 2.5 in the first six games to 6.3 in the last  seven.

· In addition to Wallace scoring a career high in points, the short-handed Marauders saw a trio of players deliver some of their best performances at Kutztown. Brandon Brown scored a season-high 14 points, Daniel Nagle pulled down a career-high six rebounds and Nate Bollinger handed out a career-high seven assists. With several key players out of the lineup, the Marauders have had to share the burden. Mumford led the team in rebounding in 10 of the first 14 games but four different players have led the team in boards in the last eight. 11 different players have led the team in assists through 22 games.

· Millersville has won the last three meetings with Cheyney inside Pucillo Gymnasium and four of the last five meetings overall. Seven of the last 10 games have been decided by no more than eight points. Expect a low scoring game as well with neither team scoring more than 69 in any of the last three meetings.

ABOUT CHEYNEY
· Cheyney is on a three-game skid after beating Shippensburg 62-58 for its third league win on Feb. 1. The last three losses, however, have been by an average of just four points. 12 of Cheyney's losses have come by fewer than eight points. Deshawn Curtis is among the top scorers in the PSAC, averaging 20.8 points per game. He also leads the team in rebounding at 7.8 per game. He's scored in double figures in 19 consecutive games and has eight double-doubles to his credit. He has scored 20 or more points 12 times. Despite his efforts, Cheyney ranks last in the league in scoring offense (61.7).
