Game Overview
  • On Wednesday, the Marauders and Raiders will meet in what seems to be a must win situation for both squads. Shippensburg most recently lost to Gannon 2-3.

Series History
  • The first meeting between Millersville and Shippensburg ended with a 4-1 victory for the Marauders in 1993. Since then, the series has been close with Millersville winning 26 games and Shippensburg winning 25.

The Last Meeting
  • The last meeting between Millersville and Shippensburg resulted in a 1-0 win for Millersville. The Marauders largely outshot the Raiders in this game. The lone goal was scored by Jaime Vazquez, who is Millersville top scorer in the 2014 season.

The Back-Flipping Hero
  • With an extremely successful 2013 season under his belt, Jaime Vazquez has carried his success into the 2014 season. In 2013, he scored nine goals and earned 22 points. The mark tied him for eighth place in the PSAC. Up to this point, the junior forward has been the top scorer for the Black & Gold with four goals and nine points. He also was credited with one assist for a tremendous pass in the game against District of Columbia. Because of his success last season, Vazquez was named All-PSAC First Team, named Daktronics All-Atlantic Region First Team, named NSCAA All-Atlantic Region Second Team and named Daktronics All-America Third Team. His continued hard work this season is essential to the teams overall success.

Scouting Shippensburg
  • The Raiders have yet to win a road game this season. Their two top scorers, each with two goals, are Robert Furfaro with a shot percentage of .105 and Brooke Moyer with a shot percentage of .286. The majority of their goals have been scored in the second half of their contests. Shippensburg has won only one game in the conference so far this season. Their coach, Jeremy Spering, has been rebuilding the program since 2008.
