GAME NOTES
· Millersville returns home to Pucillo Gymnasium where it holds a 5-1 record this season. The Marauders' only home loss came against East Stroudsburg, which is ranked in the top 10 nationally.  In their five home wins, the Marauders averaged 82.2 points per game while allowing just 68.4. The Marauders also shot 38.9 percent from three while holding opponents to 26.6 percent. Millersville were plus-19 in turnovers in those five wins and generated over 10 steals per win. Balance is key to the Marauders' success. In its five wins, four players are averaging in double figures and eight are averaging at least 7.0 points per game.  Only one player--Tavon Parker--is averaging double figures in the team's losses. Jalen Lester's eight-game streak of games in double-figures came to an end at Mansfield. Still, he's  been one of Millersville's most important players. The Marauders are 4-4 when he scores in double figures, 0-2 when he doesn't and 1-2 without him in the lineup. His plus/minus is a team-best plus-30 over 195:22.

· Tavon Parker is making a push toward being Millersville's first PSAC East Freshman of the Year since Charlie Parker in 2005. Parker claimed his second consecutive PSAC East Freshman of the Week award on Monday after averaging 22.5 points per game and scoring a career-high 26 against Mercyhurst last week. His last two weeks have been oustanding, averaging 20.5 points per game on 54.8 percent shooting from the field. He also sank 18 of his 32 3-pointer attempts and went 18-of-24 from the line.  Parker has scored in double-figures nine times and scored 19 or more four times. The last Marauder freshman to score at least 19  more than four times was Charlie Parker (seven times in 2004-05).

· Kelvin Parker announced his arrival in impressive fashion at Mansfield on Saturday. His 24 points were the most by a Marauder in a debut during the Fred Thompson era. one of the Parker has now led Millersville in scoring in each of the last four games.  The two players' have been incredible productive. Kelvin's 24 points came in 24 minutes. In his last three games, Tavon has averaged 22.7 points in just 22.3 minutes.

· Anthony Coleman's second half performance against Mansfield was a blast from the past. Coleman averaged 17.0 points per game against the PSAC East last season, and his 13 second half points at Mansfield helped him match that mark. After missing five games with an ankle injury and needing time to find his rhythm, Coleman averaged 12.0 points per game over his last three outings. He is now just 151 points shy of 1,000 for his career.

· With 202 previous meetings, Millersville has played Kutztown more than any other opponent. With the exception of the years during World War II and 1907-08, the programs have met twice each season since 1904-05. Millersville, winners of the last three, has not won four in a row in the series since taking nine in a row from 1998-2003.

ABOUT KUTZTOWN
· Kutztown stopped a six-game losing streak with a 76-74 win over Cheyney on Saturday. The Golden Bears shot 60 percent from the field in the second half to complete a come-from-behind win. Kutztown is 3-2 on the road but just 1-8 at home. Two of its run wins are over Goldey-Beacom and Mansfield--both teams Millersville lost to on the road. The Kutztown roster is incredibly young with nine freshmen and just one senior in Tyler Brooks. Not surprsingly Brooks is having a career year, averaging 14.0 points per game--up almost three points over last season's average. Tracy Peal has scored 20 or more points in two of the last three games and is averaging 23.0 points per game over the last three. He has five 20-point games this season. Kutztown ranks 13th in the PSAC in scoring offense (68.1) and 15th in scoring defense (76.3).
