Box Score Millersville, Pa. – Behind five touchdown passes from reigning Harlon Hill trophy winner Zach Zulli, Shippensburg downed homestanding Millersville by a 48-10 score Saturday afternoon.
Millersville (0-4, 0-2 PSAC East) was within striking distance until Zulli found Trevor Harman on a 59-yard touchdown pass with 14 seconds left in the first half. That score put the Raiders (2-2, 2-0 PSAC East) up 20-3 at the half and killed all positive momentum for the Marauders. Shippensburg added a score on its opening drive of the second period and used big special teams returns to pull away.

Casey hooked up with Petrovich for 22 yards on Millersville's first offensive play of the game. Millersville advanced into Shippensburg territory on each of its first two possessions, and the defense held the Raiders to a missed field goal and a turnover on downs after its opening possession touchdown drive.
In the final minute of the first quarter, Casey delivered a strike to Sanders for 37 yards down to the Shippensburg 10, setting up a first-and-goal. The Raider defense forced a short run and a pair of incomplete passes, but
Evan Stahl nailed a 24-yard field goal—the first of his career.
The Marauder defense held Zulli to 49 yards passing in the first quarter, but he broke out for 158 yards on 11-of-12 in the second quarter alone. He answered Millersville's field goal with a 70-yard touchdown drive that was capped when he found Sheldon Mayer from seven yards.

Millersville failed to answer on its opening possession of the second half, and Shippensburg dashed Millersville's hopes with a quick, eight-play drive that resulted in a Zulli to Quaran Kent touchdown.
Trailing 34-3 at the start of the fourth quarter, Millersville mounted a touchdown drive that ended when Frye fired a quick-hitter to Sanders, who broke one tackle and raced 30 yards to pay dirt. Shippensburg answered again in the form of a Blair Brooks 89-yard kick return. Zulli capped Ship's scoring with a 45-yard strike to Harman one possession later. Harman finished with 151 yards on seven grabs.
Millersville now hits the road for three consecutive road games. The Marauders travel to nationally-ranked Indiana (Pa.) next week and follows it with a trip to nationally-ranked Bloomsburg. Fans can listen to both games on MSBN.
