Vazquez scored the game-winner in the seventh minute off a pass from classmate
Jeramey Robbins. Robbins took the ball down the left wing and towards the baseline. The sophomore crossed the ball into the center of the box and Vazquez used a leaping, volley shot to bury his target into the right portion of the frame, giving Millersville an early 1-0 advantage.

The Marauders controlled the flow of play throughout the first half and in the 27th minute the Black and Gold would strike again.
On a Millersville cross near the top of the box, Nock made an extremely costly error for the Senators. The goalie went way off his line and handled the ball just outside of his box. Immediately play was stopped, a yellow card given to Nock, and the Marauders had a free kick at the top of the 18.
Vazquez touched the ball a few feet to his right, giving Johnston an open look at the cage. The York native rocketed his right footed target perfectly into the right upper corner of the goal, padding Millersville's lead to 2-0 with 19 minutes left in the period.
