Box Score Wilmington, Del. - No. 25-ranked Wilmington used six different pitchers to stymie the Millersville lineup, and the Wildcats pulled away early for a 12-3 win.
Millersville (11-5) allowed its most runs in 13 games, and Wilmington's (11-6) 14 hits marked just the third time this season that Millersville surrendered double-digit hits in a game.
Wilmington struck early off of Marauder starter
Jim McDade (1-2), who lasted three innings after surrendering five runs--four earned--on five hits. The Marauders stranded the bases loaded in the second and trailed 5-0 before scoring all three runs in the top of the fourth.

Tyler Orris drove in runs in successive at bats.
The gap was closed to two runs, but the Marauder pitching staff couldn't keep the Wilmington lineup in check, and the Marauder bats couldn't keep pace. Wilmington immediately answered in the bottom of the fourth with two runs against
Tanner Rahauser. Wilmington broke the game open in the eighth with four runs off of
Adam Zipko.
Josh Hampton led the Wildcats with three hits and there runs. Brandon Payne drove in three. Wilmington's Ray Gambone (2-1) earned the win, and five of Wilmington's six pitchers threw at least one shutout inning.
Zach Stone pushed extended his career-best hitting streak to 15 games with a seventh-inning single. Although he drove in one of the three runs, Orris did not reach base for the first time this season, ending a 16-game streak. Pine has a RBI in four consecutive starts.
Millersville returns to action on Friday, March 15 at Marauder Park against Clarion. The doubleheader starts at 1 p.m.
