Box Score Bloomsburg, Pa. – The Millersville women's basketball team took on the defending PSAC champion Bloomsburg Huskies to open its PSAC East slate on Wednesday night and earned a competitive 80-74 victory on the road.

The Marauders (3-1, 1-0 PSAC East) and Huskies (2-1, 0-1 PSAC East) showed why they were picked one and two in the PSAC Eastern Division preseason poll and both were desperate for their first conference win of the 2013-14 season.

Celeste Robinson tallied 25 points and seven assists--both of which are career highs. The sophomore guard also brought down eight rebounds and secured three steals.
Carly Gallagher was in foul trouble much of the first half but dropped 11 points in the second half to finish with 15 on the night.

Shelby Reimer made her first career start and followed up the best game of her career with 13 points, five rebounds, and three assists. The redshirt sophomore from Altoona, Pa., has scored 33 points and is a red-hot 9-of-14 from behind the arc in her last two contests.
Lexi Scrivano came off the bench for the first time this season to put up a career-high nine points and five rebounds.

The Huskies' only lead in the first half came at 4-3 before Millersville pulled ahead and never trailed again to close out the half. Bloomsburg tied the game five times through the first 20 minutes but the Marauders maintained their advantage going into the locker room, 32-30.

The tight play continued in the second half with seven ties and eight lead changes and the score was tied for a last time at 65-65. Millersville then went on a 13-4 run to take its biggest lead of the game, 78-69. The Marauders were 7-of-8 from the free throw line during that stretch. Millersville's advantage was never smaller than six as it was in the final score, 80-74.
