Erie, Pa. - Gannon, ranked No. 24 in Division II, put on a dominant offensive performance Friday in a 6-0 win over visiting Millersville.
The Golden Knights (8-1, 5-1 PSAC) totaled 26 shots including 17 in the second half, and Mani Brueckner totaled three goals and an assist while firing seven shots on goal.
Millersville's (3-4-1, 1-4-1 PSAC) keepers were peppered throughout. Olivia Webber made seven saves before, Erica Roth entered with 28 minutes left and made three stops.
The attack from the Golden Knights was simply too much. The first goal came from Justine Rodriguez 9:01 into the contest and before 30 minutes passed, the score was 4-0.
Millersville totaled eight shots. Chrissy McLaughlin and Kristin Lepley each had two.
The Marauders stay in Erie overnight and play Mercyhurst Saturday.
