Box Score Philadelphia, Pa. - In its final non-conference game of the season, the Millersville men's soccer team fell to Philadelphia University 1-0 on Wednesday afternoon.
Brad Benzing recorded one save and Millersville (9-7) had seven different players each take a shot against the Rams. The loss snapped the Marauders' four-game winning streak and dropped their non-conference record to 3-5.

Ryan Rohrer each tallied a shot on goal.
The game was a defensive battle as Philadelphia (9-5-4) only took one more shot than Millersville (8). Ryan Schroy was the only Ram to take two shots and his final target proved futile as it beat Benzing in the 72nd minute. Victor Chagonda assisted Schroy's goal with eight minutes left in play.
Millersville took three more corners and committed two less fouls than Philadelphia.
It was only Millersville's third game of the season in which their offense failed to score. Philadelphia was the first non-PSAC team to hold the Marauders scoreless.
Millersville plays its final home regular season game of the year on Saturday, Oct. 27 against West Chester. Game time is set for 1 p.m.
