Box Score Millersville, Pa. - Sometimes in soccer all that is needed is a fortunate bounce. That was the case for East Stroudsburg Saturday at Millersville. Marauder keeper Olivia Webber turned away a career-high 15 shots, but one save ended up on the foot of Kerri McClay, who scored to give the visiting Warriors a 1-0 double overtime win.

Webber kept Millersville (4-8-4, 1-8-3 PSAC) in the game until the end, stopping the most shots by a Marauder keeper since Karrine Riggins made 16 against West Chester on Oct. 10, 2006. She even stopped a penalty kick from in the first half. But in the second overtime, McClay fired a long shot that Webber blocked. The ball skipped away into no-man's land, though, and McClay won the footrace to the ball. With Webber playing up, McClay merely lofted the ball over her head and into the goal.

East Stroudsburg (8-3-4, 7-2-3) entered the game ranked seventh in the Atlantic Region and took the Marauders to their fifth overtime session in the last 11 games. The Warriors controlled play in regulation, outshooting the Marauders 20-4.

Millersville nearly pulled the upset in the first overtime as Kristin Lepley and Tess Briggs both put shots on goal in the first five minutes. Sara Cressman also took the first shot by either team in the second overtime, but it was blocked before it could reach keeper Brittain Wagner.

The Marauders totaled seven shots. Wagner totaled three saves for ESU.

Millersville has two home games remaining on the schedule. Indiana (Pa.) visits Chryst Field at Biemesderfer Stadium on Oct. 24 at 4 p.m.
