THE STARTING FIVE
(1) Millersville is coming off its sixth loss of the season against Kutztown on Saturday. The Marauders had just seven losses during the 2010-11 campaign, including two loses in the postseason. Millersville is 5-0 (3-0 PSAC) after a loss this season and looks to continue that mark tonight against Shippensburg.

(2) The Marauders have struggled offensively this season and now sit 15th in the PSAC in field goal percentage (.363) and just 12th in scoring offense with 61.8 points per game.   Millersville is coming off its worse shooting performance of the season where they shot 28 percent from the field at Kutztown in its 63-57 loss. The Marauders are now 3-6 (2-4 PSAC) when scoring below 60 points in a game this season.

(3) Aurielle Mosley was held under double-digits for just the fourth time this season by the Golden Bears. Mosley finished the game with a season low four points.  Mashira Newman has lead the Marauders in scoring the past two games and has extended her double-figures' streak to four-straight games. Newman was Millersville's lone consistent scorer at going five-for-seven from the field while the Marauders' other four starters combined for nine-of-43 from the field.

(4) Defensively, the Marauders rank in the top four of the PSAC in scoring defense (fourth; 57.6 ppg), field goal percentage defense (second; .367) and three-point field goal percentage defense (third; .274). Mosley leads the conference in block shots with 39 (2.4 pg), while Mashira Newman is second in steals with 48 (3.0 pg).

(5) In 82 total meetings, Shippensburg and Millersville have each won 41 games dating back to the 1921-22 season. Head Coach Mary Fleig is just 14-12 all-time against the Red Raiders, but has a 10-4 record against them over the last decade. Millersville has won the last six meetings, and Shippensburg has not won in Pucillo Gymanisum since Jan. 7, 2007 by a score of 68-59.  Shippensburg's previous win at Pucillo was back on Nov. 25, 1995 (88-62).

ABOUT SHIPPENSBURG
Shippensburg is coming off of a home victory against East Stroudsburg where it defeated the Warriors by a score a 63-44. The Red Raiders, however, have not put together back-to-back wins since they won their first three games of the season. Shippensburg is averaging 62.8 points per game, while giving up and average of 60.3 points. Offensively, the Red Raiders rank in the middle of the PSAC in every catagory.  Millersville has won the last six meetings.

The Red Raiders have three players averaging over 12 points per game, including Monae Baker (12.8), Dana Wert (12.4) and Shawna Wert (12.0)--Dana and Shawna are twin sisters. The three ladies are the only three players to lead Shippensburg in scoring in each of its 16 games this season. Dana Wert led the Red Raiders in scoring six times with a season-high 21 points, twice, while Baker and Shawna Wert each led the team in scoring five times. Shawna is coming off of back-to-back team-highs for Shippensburg.

Shippensburg leads the PSAC in both free throw percentage (.779) and three-point percentage defense (.268). The Red Raiders have six players shooting above 70 percent. Dana and Shawna Wert rank in the top seven of the conference in free throw percentage with 85 percent and 83 percent respectively.

Head Coach Kristy Trn has not faired well in her 13-year career against Millersville. Trn is 5-12 all time against the Marauders, including a 1-7 record at Pucillo Gymnasium. Trn's first win against Millersville came in her first season at Shippensburg in the PSAC Championship Game on March 4, 2000. The Red Raiders defeated the Marauders at Shippensburg by a score of 83-57.
