Bronx, N.Y. - The Millersville women's cross country team placed 16th in a field of 19 teams Saturday at the 17th annual John "Paddy" Doyle Meet of Champions hosted by Iona.
The Marauders were led by Sarah Mulvey's time of 24:52.80, which placed her 85th overall. Teammate Rebekah Moore crossed the finish line just three spots later with a time of 24:53.94.
Newcomer Brittany Martin finished in 25:24.66, placing her 124th in the 202-runner field. Michelle Blum and Megan Meyer rounded out Millersville's scoring with times of 26:07 and 27:00 respectively.
Millersville travels to the Lock Haven Invitational on Sept. 24.
