Rohrer Takes Sixth in First Tournament of Spring

Kutztown, Pa. - Freshman Amber Rohrer opened the Millersville women's golf spring season with a sixth-place finish at the one-day Kutztown University Invitational Saturday.
Playing at the Berkleigh Golf Course in Kutztown, Rohrer shot an 89 to land in a three-way tie for sixth. It was the best finish of her career, she finished just nine strokes off the pace set by Kutztown's Mindy Glatfelter. She continued a trend that began in the fall. She has finished higher in each tournament of her career to date.
The women's team travels to West Chester for the Dr. Edwin B. Cotrell Invitational on Sunday and Monday.
Victoria Hess was the only other Marauder in action. She placed 20th in the 25-player field with a 109.
