ABOUT THE GAME
· Millersville suffered its second conference loss when it dropped a 79-68 decision to Bloomsburg Saturday and handed over the reins of the PSAC East. The Marauders' only league losses this season have come at the hands of the Huskies, who also edged MU in the conference opener. Saturday also marked just the second contest this season that Millersville lost in Pucillo Gymnasium and was the first time since the 2008-09 season that the Marauders lost a regular season conference game on their home court.
· In the match-up with Bloomsburg Millersville displayed a balanced scoring offense.
Aurielle Mosley led MU with her fifth-straight and 11th double-double performance of the season with 24 points and 14 rebounds. It marked the third-consecutive 20-point game for Mosley. Millersville also received double-digit scores from
Gabrielle Styles, who registered her second career double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds, and
Mashira Newman who added 16 points.
· As they have done all season long, Mosley and Newman continue to remain among the top players in the conference as well as the division. For the second-straight week Millersville leads Divison II with 6.0 blocked shots per game, thanks in large part to Mosley who ranks sixth--and first in the PSAC--with 3.0 blocks per game. She also sits second with 12.7 rebounds per game, one spot behind Kayla Smith (California, Pa.). Newman is second in the conference and seventh in the division with 3.5 steals per game. As a club, MU leads the PSAC and is third in Division II with a +10.5 rebounding margin over their opponents.
· On Wednesday Millersville and the Wolves will face off for the second time this season. One month ago the Marauders defeated Cheyney 57-41 in Pucillo Gymnasium.
· The Marauders look to extend their two-game conference road win streak at Cheyney. The last time MU traveled to Cope Hall the Wolves' snapped Millersville's seven-game win streak and handed the club its sole PSAC East loss of the season.
