ABOUT THE GAME
· Millersville opened PSAC East play last week with a 1-1 mark. On Wednesday the Marauders were upset by unranked Bloomsburg, 75-58. Millersville quickly rebounded, though, and downed Mansfield 67-52 on its home court Saturday. Senior Domonique Stroman led her young club throughout the week, averaging 12 points, 11 rebounds and 4.5 steals. Against Bloomsburg Stroman registered her second career double-double performance with a team-leading 13 points and career-high 15 rebounds. Stroman also nabbed a career-high and team-leading eight steals in Millersville's route of Mansfield.
· The Marauders have upheld a tight defensive front throughout the year, limiting its opponents to just 57.2 points per game. Millersville ranks third in the conference in scoring defense and leads the blocked shots category with 84 blocks on the year and an average of 6.0 per game. As a club Millersville has picked off a total 180 steals--34 more than its opponents. Sophomore Mashira Newman leads the conference and ranks sixth in all of Division II with a steal average of 3.9 per game and 55 overall.
· Millersville has used a balanced offensive attack in the majority of their games this season, and four players have already tallied over 100 points and average more than 9.5 points per game. Newman leads all scorers with 202 points and a team-leading 14.4 point per game average, while Aurielle Mosley averages 13.1. Sophia Waters and Domonique Stroman also average 9.6 points per game apiece.
· Millersville has generated more second chance points 12 times in 14 contests this season. The Marauders dominate the offensive glass and average a conference-leading 20.4 offensive rebounds per game. Mosley leads all players in the PSAC with a 5.5 offensive rebounds per game average.
· Cheyney surprised Millersville last season when the Wolves snapped MU's seven-game win streak. The loss was the Marauders' last during the regular season before falling to West Chester in the PSAC semifinals 10 games later.

ABOUT THE OPPONENT
· Cheyney opened PSAC Eastern Division play last week with a 0-2 mark. The Wolves fell to East Stroudsburg, 64-50 on the road, and were then defeated by Shippensburg at home, 77-51.
· Currently riding a seven-game losing skid dating back to Dec. 18, Cheyney averages 51.1 points per game while allowing its opponents to score 66.9. Nadirah Brown leads the Wolves with 12.3 points and 8.6 rebounds per game.
· The Wolves have a history of struggling in Pucillo Gymnasium. Millersville holds an overall series record at home against Cheney of 24-3. The Marauders have not lost to the Wolves at home since the 1986 season.
