Clarion, Pa. - Freshman Amber Rohrer placed in the top 25 for the second-straight tournament and led the Millersville women's golfers at the Clarion Fall Invitational by finishing 16th.
Rohrer shot rounds of 83 and 86 on the par 72 Clarion Oaks Golf Club. Her 25-over-par total was 12 strokes off the medalist pace set by West Chester's Nicole Cavalcante.
Sara Weiss and Victoria Hess also competed for Millersville. Weiss placed 53rd at 69-over, and Hess placed one spot and six strokes behind her teammate.
The Marauders compete in the PSAC Championship at Hershey Links in Hummelstown, Pa., on Oct. 16-17.
