ABOUT THE GAME
• The tough-luck Millersville men's basketball team enters Wednesday's game looking to pull off an upset of nationally-ranked East Stroudsburg and put an end to its two-game slide. Millersville's last two losses have been by a total of eight points and four of the team's last five losses have been by an average of four points. Six of Millersville's last seven games (two wins, five losses) have been decided by fewer than 10 points.
• Millersville returns to the friendly confines of Pucillo Gymnasium where its has earned its only two wins in the last 13 games. The Marauders are 5-5 at home this year compared to 2-7 on the road. The Marauders are averaging 64.0 points per game at home compared to 59.2 on the road. The offensive struggles on the road are epitomized by leading scorer
Jason Blake, who averages 8.8 points per game and 40.7 percent shooting on the road and 14.7 points per game and 54.2 percent shooting in Pucillo Gymnasium.
• Despite possessing the PSAC's 15th-ranked scoring offense, the Marauders are keeping games close by ranking seventh in scoring defense (67.4). On Saturday, Millersville held Mansfield to its lowest point total of the season. The Marauders, however, rank 16th in field goal shooting defense (.461). Millersville have managed to hold teams to low point totals by limiting offensive possessions and shot attempts. Millersville are allowing opponents to attempt 53.6 field goals per game, which is the second lowest total in the league. Only West Chester has held teams to fewer shot attempts.
• Millersville, as part of a PSAC-wide effort, will be accepting donations Wednesday for the Haiti Relief Fund.
