Freshman Henry Top Finisher as Marauders Place Ninth

Camp Lejeune, N.C. - Freshman Shane Henry led the Millersville men's golf team as he tied for 22nd in a field of 68 golfers at the Camp LeJuene Scarlet Invitational. As a team, the Marauders finished ninth out of 13 teams.
Henry finished the three day tournament with a 12-over-par 224, 13 shots behind the winner. Henry saved his best for day three when he shot a 3 over on the par 70 course.
Nick Magenta also turned in a solid tournament, finishing one shot behind Henry and in a tie for 27th. Brian Cooper and Darryn DeShong placed 41st and 42nd respectively, and Trent Coldren rounded out Millersville's scoring tied for 53rd.
Millersville totaled a 905. Hampden-Sydney College took first place with a 21-over-par 869.
