Millersville, Pa. – Nine years ago, Millersville head coach Todd Roberts graduated from York College, and on Tuesday evening, he led the Marauders to a 35-9 dual meet victory over his alma mater.

With Tuesday's victory over York— Millersville's ninth-straight in the series— Roberts' Marauders improved their season record to 6-4, giving them their most wins since the 2004-05 season. York, which entered the evening ranked 28th in the NWCA Division III Wrestling Rankings, fell to 12-10-1.

Millersville dominated the evening, winning eight of the nine bouts contested and tallied three falls and a pair of major decisions.

165-pound Shane Smith scored his team-leading 15th fall of the season, pinning Alex Martocello in 1:36. Sean Reed at 133 pounds notched his 10th fall of the season by pinning Matt Volpe just before the second period horn. Raymond Bennett completed the scoring for the Marauders by pinning Tom Fitzpatrick at 6:06.

Mike Greck at 141 pounds and #J.J. Lester# at 157 picked up back-to-back major decisions for the Marauders. Greck downed Dylan Giandalia 17-5, and Lester followed with a 15-4 win over Aaron Samia.

At 165, #Jeremy Brooks boosted his season win total to 22 with a hard-fought 3-2 win over Matt Heisey.

Also picking up wins for the Marauders were 125-pound John Andel and 141-pound Sean Andel. Sean used a furious third period and a late reversal to notch the 8-6 win.

Millersville travels to Kutztown on Feb. 4 for a dual at 7 p.m.
