Chris Murphy extended his consecutive scoreless innings streak to 23 by throwing his third consecutive complete game shutout. Murphy surrendered only two hits in seven innings while striking out 10 and not issuing a single walk. He faced just two batters over the minimum and needed just 92 pitches. His current streak ranks sixth in PSAC history and he is now the only pitcher in the conference's history with two streaks of at least 23 consecutive scoreless innings.
