Gettysburg, Pa. - The Millersville men's and women's cross country teams sent small squads to the Gettysburg Invitational Saturday. Matt Taylor helped the men to a 20th-place finish, and Elicia Anderson was the top women's runner.

Taylor, a freshman, placed 99th in a field of 347 running a time of 29:57.76.  Seth Hibbs placed 143rd with a time of 30:34. Nick Hanifee's 30:57 placed him 166th , and Kevin Diflorio's 31:15 was good for 178th. Ben Morrison's 31:22.56 put him in 187th.

The team placed 20th in a field of 31. Malone University took top team honors.

Anderson and Sarah Fink were the lone women representatives. Anderson posted a 24:52.63 on the 6K course. Ivette Mejia of Saint Vincent placed first with a time of 23:24.20.

Fink placed 169th with a time of 28:00.36.

Both squads compete in the PSAC Championships next Saturday at Lock Haven.
